8.  „THE KINGS OF THE BAROQUE ERA – BACH AND TELEMANN, AS WELL AS POLISH COMPOSERS OF THE TIME”

Stefan Plewniak – baroque violin, Karolina Jesionek  – traverso flute, Paulina Tkaczyk – harpsichord,

Elżbieta Górka – baroque violin, Jacek Dumanowski – baroque viola, Konrad Górka – violoncello piccolo

„Barocco” – „irregular pearl”. Baroque, also in Poland, was an exceptionally rich and fascinating time. It was the time of intense development of music, which rapidly absorbed the new aesthetics. During the concert we shall present to our listeners the works of two eminent Polish composers of the time: M. Mielczewski and A. Jarzębski. We would also like to present „Concerto Polonois” by G. Ph. Telemann – a composer, who alluded to Polish music in his works. The musical feast will be concluded with the Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 written by the baroque genius J. S. Bach.
