1. „HARPSICHORD – THE KING OF BAROQUE INSTRUMENTS”

Performers

Paulina Tkaczyk – harpsichord

Program

P.A. Soler, A. Viola, C.Ph.E. Bach, Ch.S. Binder

„In Spanish and in German”

The program of the concert shows two extremely different and yet interconnected worlds of music. On the one hand it reaches for baroque roots, on the other it presents elements of galante, empfindsamer Stil and Sturm und Drang styles. The richness of these two cultural traditions assumes a unique expression through masterly, expressive and harmonically exceptionally interesting compositions. The program includes works of both well-known composers and those who are only now being discovered, which additionally brings out its qualities and allows to show the various faces of harpsichord.
